Does God’s timing sometimes leave you frustrated and full of questions? I’m pretty sure are all ready for the pandemic to be over and for things to get back to a more “normal” state of affairs. We want to be able to travel, go to concerts, hug people, get rid of masks! I have been waiting for some other things which aren’t happening according to my scheduling – getting my book published and my daughters becoming financially independent to name a few. And realistically, when these things are resolved, there will be something new that isn’t happening according to my timeline.
We have to remember that God created time and is its Master. His timing is perfect. He is never late! (although to us it may seem like it). Even when it seems like things aren’t moving, He is always at work for us.
Trusting Him will bring you peace. Believing in his timeline will give you rest. So stop trying to figure everything out, and let Him be God in your life! I am trying to trust God more and remind myself of these truths as I wait.
Remember the words of Psalm 27:14: “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”
